The biggest problems guys face when they just meet a woman and are trying to flirt and establish rapport by text is they can't convey tone or context. I can't tell you how many misunderstandings and lost opportunities men have posted about on PUA Forum that have come about as a result of sloppy texting. When you are having a text conversation, there is all kinds of room for misinterpretation and confusing. It makes it very difficult to clarify things at times and can lead to annoying messages. For example, say you meet a girl at her job at the bookstore and get her number. While you are bantering over text, she asks if you are going to come in and visit her. "Of course," you say.
