Premade Web Templates is a half-done web templates, let's face it not all of us want to be bothered with designing a website from scratch, that's way we have a premade web templates. You know, there so many benefits having your own premade but professional looking website on the Internet, Yes I said professional! Because A poor looking website will do nothing but hurts your own credibility, even if it's premade you have to make sure that it looks professional enough when representing your business. Here are some of the benefits having your own professional looking website: A) A premade but professional looking website will give you a good credibility!
And many more...To sum it up... If you want to be successful online you'll need NOT just any website, but your own professional website! Now here are some things you need to do: 1. You Need A Domain Name To make a brand image for your business, people need to know what to address and that is what your website called. It gives you credibility and it's the only way to get listed properly in search engines. There are several choices when selecting your own domain name such as .com, .net, .biz or .org but I would suggest only .com. Because the search engines give better treatment to .com domain names, and people also will remember websites with .com domain name much better than the others. Now to give a proper domain name to your .com you should remember to include your keywords into your domain name. Why? Because the search engines will give websites with a keywords rich domain name a better listing. 2. You need a good affordable Web Hosting If you do a quick search for phrase "web hosting" at google.com or yahoo.com you'll get confused by the "millions" of results.I found a great web hosting with an affordable price here: Global Internet Solution gisol.com or godaddy.com 3. You need to be able to Accept Payments When you're selling products/services online for profit, you'll inevitably need a reliable payment processing company to collect money from your customers. 1) Clickbank.com, ClickBank is secured, reliable and somewhat the 'recognized' online digital product payment solution provider. Through them, you can begin accepting payments via credit cards AND online checks without need for a merchant account. They provide a completely hassle-free service that has so far seen no worthy competition. 2) 2Checkout.com, I'm using their service and it's quite reliable. 3) PayPal, well everybody's favourite 2 types of Website that will Work For You! Before you start creating your own website you should consider what kind of website that is suitable to market your product/service, there are 2 types of website people usually create: 1. Content website A content site is just that: a site with a lot of content. Usually, content sites are meant for much more than just their ezine, but still focus on collecting email addresses. These content sites may have hundreds or thousands of pages with articles, stories, references, or other information their visitors might find useful. Some people like this type of site because people like content, but more importantly, search engines like content. If your site has a lot of content, search engines will list your site higher, and you'll get more traffic. This kind of website is not only including your product or service but also other related resources such as e-books, tutorials, articles that would interest your target market. So this type of website will attract visitors with an incentive. Most of the content websites would give their products or services for FREE in order to gain people's trust and build their own credibility, for example if your website is about how to plant and grow a Bonsai tree then you can give your visitors several free resources about Bonsai trees, you need to make a stand so people will think of you as an expert and have a sincere heart to help them plant and growth Bonsai tree. After you gain your visitor's trust then you most likely can sell anything to them, because you already presale your visitors with an education. 2. Mini website. This is the option that I prefer, mostly because it is short and to the point. It is very effective because it leaves the visitor with one choice - subscribe or leave. The Sole Purpose of the Mini Site is to Gather Email Addresses! That's it. You want the visitor to arrive at your site, quickly and easily see what your ezine has to offer, and then decide to subscribe or to leave. There won't be anything to distract your visitor. I like to have the home page, a subscribe page, and a page to host your archives. I also usually have an 'About Me' page, a page telling my visitors how to get in touch with me, and a page where I sell some products. I don't push these other pages on my visitors, I don't use flashy graphics, just a small text link on each page. This type of website will focus on just one product or service and no other content, and if a content website can have like 20 or more pages, mini site usually only have 1 to 5 pages. And all these pages will focus and support the main product you're selling. Mini site is basically just a sales letter of a product, it requires a direct response from your visitors, when designing this kind of website you certainly don't need to have a lot of flash animations, and banner adds everywhere because you don't want to confuse or distract your visitors' attention. The sole purpose of a mini-site is to attract highly targeted traffic; this is why mini site is usually focused on a certain keywords or phrases. The more targeted the better. For example if you have 5 different products, don't sell all of them on one website, what you can do is create 5 different mini sites for each product, this way you can market each product in a more targeted market and achieve the most profits! Now Here's the Pros and Cons between these 2 websites. Mini Site +Pros Easy to set up and maintain. Visitors aren't distracted by a lot of links and information. Visitors have two choices: subscribe or leave! -Cons Search Engines might not spider your site as often. Content Site +Pros Search Engines love content! Visitors will keep coming back to you if you keep your content fresh and updated. -Cons Takes time to set up and even more time to maintain. It will be very easy for your visitors to get distracted. They may like what you have to offer, but forget to subscribe after they look through your site. |
